1. Purpose

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing cancellations, amendments, and refunds for travel bookings and related services provided by Arthasetu Innovations Private Limited (“the Company”).

2. Scope

This policy applies to all services offered by the Company, including but not limited to:

  • Flight Bookings (Domestic & International)
  • Bus & Train Tickets
  • Hotel Bookings
  • Holiday & Tour Packages
  • Visa Assistance
  • Travel Insurance
  • Car Rentals & Airport Transfers
  • Other travel-related services

3. General Refund Conditions

  • All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email or official communication channels.
  • Refunds will be processed only after receiving confirmation of cancellation from the respective service provider (airline, hotel, tour operator, etc.).
  • Processing times may vary depending on the third-party provider’s policies.
  • Refunds will be issued in the same mode of payment used at the time of booking.
  • The Company reserves the right to deduct applicable service charges, transaction fees, or cancellation penalties before processing the refund.

4. Cancellation Policy

a. Flight Bookings

  • Refunds are subject to the airline’s cancellation and fare rules.
  • Certain promotional or discounted fares may be non-refundable.
  • If cancellation is made within 24 hours of booking (and at least 7 days before departure), a full refund may be allowed, subject to airline policy.
  • After ticket issuance, service fees and airline penalties will apply.

b. Hotel Bookings

  • Cancellation and refund terms depend on the hotel’s individual policy.
  • “Non-refundable” hotel bookings will not be eligible for refunds.
  • Partial refunds (if allowed) will be processed after deducting hotel charges and service fees.

c. Tour Packages

Domestic Packages

  • Cancellation 30 days before departure – 80% refund
  • 15–29 days before departure – 50% refund
  • 7–14 days before departure – 25% refund
  • Less than 7 days – No refund

International Packages

  • Cancellation 45 days before departure – 70% refund
  • 30–44 days before departure – 40% refund
  • Less than 30 days – No refund

(Percentages exclude visa, insurance, and third-party fees.)

d. Visa and Documentation Services

Once the application is submitted, no refund will be provided, irrespective of visa approval or rejection.

e. Travel Insurance

Refunds are not applicable once the policy is issued, as per the insurance provider’s terms.

5. Force Majeure

No refunds will be provided for cancellations or interruptions caused by events beyond the Company’s control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, etc.)
  • Political unrest or government restrictions
  • Airline or supplier bankruptcy
  • Pandemic-related restrictions or travel bans

In such cases, the Company will attempt to reschedule or offer travel credits/vouchers instead of cash refunds, wherever possible.

6. Refund Timeline

  • Airline Refunds: 7–15 working days
  • Hotel Refunds: 7–10 working days
  • Tour Package Refunds: 10–15 working days
  • Other Services: 7–10 working days

Timelines are indicative and subject to third-party approval.

7. Non-Refundable Situations

  • “No-show” passengers at the time of travel.
  • Failure to comply with travel documentation requirements (passport, visa, etc.).
  • Denial of boarding or entry due to immigration issues.
  • Services purchased under “non-refundable” terms.
